Assess the impact of the “Porto Olímpico Residencial Leste” development on traffic in the surrounding area, and suggest mitigation measures.
ACTIVITIES DEVELOPED
- Study on the generation, distribution and modal split of trips to the development
- Macroscopic modeling of the RMRJ (Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro) network, considering the development in the context of the Porto Maravilha project
- Microscopic modeling of the critical points in the area directly impacted by the development
- Local Circulation Plan, including the mass transportation system, as well as alternatives for non motorized transportation
- Proposal of measures to mitigate the impact generated by the development, and support in getting approval from CET-Rio
